It all started with a UFO encounter in 1992. From there, things got pretty strange. In 1994, I began having spontaneous lucid dreams and out-of-body experiences. Unexplained events became common and the paranormal started to seem mostly normal. Gradually, I came to the conclusion that there was much more to reality and existence than I had originally been led to believe. With Occam’s razor as my guide, I began hunting for answers. That journey continues to be amazing, mind-opening, and life changing.
I have learned through direct experience that sharing my adventures and personal findings in their entirety often begets blank stares and sympathetic smiles. As physicist Tom Campbell pointed out, “If it’s not your experience, then it’s not your truth.” Thus, I have found that sharing my own personal discoveries and truths is not as useful as lightly encouraging others toward or along their own path of discovery. Art, it seems, is a great way to accomplish this. My hope is that my work will spark an interest, relight an old flame, or perhaps stoke an already existing fire regarding the absolutely amazing mystery of all-that-is.
I received my BA from California State University, San Bernardino in 2004 with high honors. After a short, ten-year stint to stay at home with my kids, I headed back to school. I was lucky enough to find my way to LCAD’s post baccalaureate program. I completed LCAD’s MFA program in 2015. I grew up in Los Alamos, New Mexico and now reside in Southern California.
I am currently working on a novel series.
